This short and simple hike is one of the most overlooked in all of the Sedona area. Only taking 1.5 hours out and back, this hike will provide you with excellent views from the flat-top mesa. At the end of the trail, you get amazing 180 degree views with a sheer drop-off, so don't go too far! You can also explore the rest of the flat-top section to fulfill the 360 degree experience. You may see atv's and buggies buzzing through the street and trail below you on your way to the top where a silent, all-encompassing peace greets you. You will likely stumble upon other hikers along the way to the midpoint destination, but not too many as the parking is limited for this trail and it is not one of the most talked about trails in the area. Take some water, a snack, and be ready to gain a decent amount of elevation in a short 30 minute span to reach the top, but once there: it's all worth it.
